Her First Libro de Mormón!

Dear everyone,

This has been an amazing week!! On Monday evening after teaching M we went to do contacting and we found a new potential named M and talked to a lot of people. One of them was nice and asked if we wanted a picture together in a gazebo covered in lights. Soeur S talked to a man and accidentally made him miss his bus haha. XD

On Tuesday we went to an outer ville named Guéret to deliver a Book of Mormon. We had to spend a couple hours there so we street contacted! It was really great! We gave a Book of Mormon to a lady who was pregnant and she seemed touched by our message.

On Wednesday we had another lesson with O! He was very receptive of the Book of Mormon and happy to receive a copy and happy to reread the intro and the chapter we gave him! He said he felt what we teach is the word of God. That afternoon we went to pass a less active, but she wasn't there so we ported in her neighbourhood. Soeur S is so strong and took turns with me doing the intro to porting! On one of the doors she did the intro for the man was interested and listened to a brief resume of the retab, accepted a Book of Mormon, gave us his phone number and told us to come back on Wednesday! Miracle! His name is R.He is from Portugal but speaks really great French. He is probably in his twenties. We are hoping that his parents will become interested too!

After that we passed more addresses and contacted on the way. Soeur S carried a Spanish Book of Mormon in her hands all day long reading from it, but she said she didn't feel too hopeful to find someone. But on the bus going back to the apartment We heard a lady and her son speaking Spanish together! It was so funny seeing Soeur S's facial expression! She froze and held onto the bar on the bus for her life haha! I was like, go talk to them! But she was so nervous! So I sat down in front of them and asked where they're from and then she sat and really talked with them. At the end of the conversation she offered them the Libro de Mormón and they accepted! She had written her testimony inside too. She is so amazing! Miracle!

That evening we went to Bordeaux for district meeting. It was a really great discussion of amis and finding. I love our district. On the train ride home I talked with a really sweet older lady. She had just had an eye operation so I was able to relate with her and talk about it.

The next day we did a lot of contacting and it was amazing because so many people were home and answered when we ported them! Soeur S talked to ten people! We also gave a Book of Mormon to a teenage girl. It was pouring down rain and we were drenched. :)

On Saturday we took a train to have lunch with a member family. They are really great and after we shared a spiritual thought we were able to discuss ways to improve our member relationships and finding! They had both served missions and the wife was a convert. She was converted form sister missionaries doing service!

M is doing well! She is a very quiet, almost solemn person generally, but she's literally becoming a happier person over the months. The gospel changes lives! I know that is true because I've felt it personally but also from seeing it in the lives of other like M! No wonder we go around preaching this message every day!

Anyway it's been a busy week full of miracles! Soeur S is amazing and I love her! I love this gospel! I love sharing it with people! I love my Heavenly Father! He watches over and blesses his children! I'm grateful for my Savior, especially in this Christmas season. I know he lives and is going to return to the earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords! What a blessed day that will be.

I love you all!
